Everything in this repository: the installer, the ownllm command, the chat page and API on your own computer, your compressed notes, search, the deterministic engine, and four model sizes. The source is public under the Business Source License (see LICENSING.md).

There are no accounts, no per-question fees and no tracking, and no license checks in the software.

Two ways to get it:
- Lite (about 10 MB): installs the engine, then fetches the model that fits your computer.
- Offline: download the package and a model file once, then install with no internet (see the install guide).
Each release becomes Apache-2.0 four years after it is published. Versions 1.0.0 and 1.0.1 are Apache-2.0 already.
